Unexpected Beginnings and Ends

It has been a million years since I last blogged and there are a million reasons why! For starters, I moved over the holidays and it took time to get my internet access set up and I still haven't found the cord for my camera to download pictures. Then, 2009 rolled around and has proved to be a year of unexpected beginnings and ends. The first unexpected beginning was an addition to some of my job duties. That sent me to Dallas for several days for some training and slowed the unpacking process which is why I still can't post any pictures!!! The next unexpexpected was actually a beginnining and unfortunately an end. On January 10th, we took my grandmother to the hospital for the beginning of a very long 6 days of fighting for her life. She had been sick for so many years and this time her body just couldn't withstand all the problems. January 16th was the end of her life here on earth and the beginning of her eternity with Jesus. Thank you for all of your prayers for my family this past week and a half! On the same day that the Lord took my grandmother to Heaven, He gave life to the most beautiful baby girl I have ever seen! Even though Harper's life has had an unexpected beginning, I am confident that the Lord has great things in store for her and her precious parents! I have been reminded so much lately that none of these unexpected events have been unexpected for God. He is in control of all things and continues to work miracles!!!
